Posters and DemonstrationsPosters and Demonstrations provide an ideal platform for researchers and practitioners to present and demonstrate novel and innovative work in an informal way. This generates in-depth discussions with peers, and provides a valuable opportunity to receive feedback. Posters focus on latest findings, such as work in progress, ideas on a specific research topic, or early results of exciting work about all aspects of hypertext and hypermedia. Posters are displayed throughout the conference, but there will be dedicated sessions during which presenters should be at their posters to talk to other conference attendees. Demonstrations show inventive hypertext and hypermedia systems in action. We encourage demonstrations of products as well as of research projects. At the conference, there will be demo sessions, during which demonstrators will staff their demos and attendees can view, discuss, and explore their systems. At Hypertext 2004, we will play a slide show about the posters and demonstrations during the breaks to attract attendees. Printed posters and demonstrations proceedings will be made available to all conference attendees, and will also be available on the conference web site. SubmissionsProposals for posters and demonstrations should be submitted as 2-page descriptions using the conference paper format and detailing the content, significance, and novelty of the work. Demonstration proposals can use a third page for screenshots. Proposals should be supplied as Postscript, PDF, or Word Files and submitted via the conference submission software system. If you encounter any problems, please send your submissions by e-mail to the contact person and include:
We cannot supply computers for demos. A limited number of projectors are available on a first-requested basis. On AcceptanceIf presenters have not already done so, they should register for the conference. Poster presenters should print their posters and demo presenters practice their demonstrations. For us to create the slide show for the breaks at the conference:
